If you were asked to name your favorite Bible character, would it be a woman? Women in the Bible were often figures in the background, but let's not mistake unnoticed for unimportant. Women were not an afterthought to God; they are equal to man in both creation and dominion.

Join she Ministries for Live Relationally: Lessons from the Women of Genesis as we spotlight women from this book of the Bible, from Tamar to the often-oversimplified Eve. Genesis is full of wives and mothers, slaves, sinners, and saints—and each woman's story will touch your heart. As we read about their experiences, their stories will shock us, inspire us, and draw us closer to God.

"And the LORD God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him" (Genesis 2:18).

Join us each Tuesday, beginning January 30, at 9:30 am or 6:30 pm at Calvary Church Albuquerque, or Mondays, beginning February 5, at 6 pm at Calvary Church Santa Fe. You will experience a semester of powerful teachings by Lenya Heitzig, meaningful worship, and intimate small groups where we will learn to put the Scripture into practice in our everyday lives.

Run Passionately

Saturday Apr 21, 2018 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM / Pueblo Montano Picnic Area and Trailhead

she Ministries presents she Lives with Janaé Heitzig, a ministry created to guide and direct women on how to maintain spiritual, physical, and relational health in their lives today.

Whether you are old or young or mature in your faith or a new believer, I believe it is vitally important to pursue life to its fullest. she Lives provides women with an outlet to worship, glean from God's Word, and fellowship through activities and authentic conversations. It is a ministry that follows the example of the Proverbs 31 woman and intertwines it with the instruction given in Titus 2—to glean from those who have gone before us. There is no greater way to live life for Jesus than to do so with one another. I encourage you to take this opportunity and join us in the pursuit to live with spiritual, physical, emotional, and relational health. —Janaé Heitzig

Keeping our bodies healthy can be hard as we juggle work, home, family, and all the activities that come with that. Join she Lives for Run Passionately for a time of prayer and fellowship. On Saturday, April 21, at 9 am, join us at Pueblo Montaño Picnic Area and Trailhead on Montaño Road, east of Coors Blvd. As you exercise at your own experience level, you'll get the accountability you need to start living healthy.

she Lives: Gossip Girl

Saturday Apr 28, 2018 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM / Hub, Calvary Church Albuquerque

Gossip can be defined as sharing information about another's behavior or personal life, often without the full knowledge of the truth. Slander is making a false statement damaging to a person's reputation. Whether or not gossipers and slanderers intend direct harm, the result is always the same—broken trust and hurt feelings—with consequences even as severe as ruined jobs, diminished wealth, and destroyed marriages and families.

The tongue is powerful, and we must be careful with our words. God's Word warns us to stay away from people who gossip and to guard our words when we speak about others. Scripture also tells us the kind of words we should and should not speak. Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 28, at 9 am in the Hub at Calvary Church Albuquerque for she Lives: Gossip Girl, where we will learn about how we can tame our tongues. We'll also enjoy a fun-filled activity that will help us coat our words in sweet truth. Register now.
